Gandhi-Irwin Pact

A March 1931 agreement between Gandhi and Viceroy Lord Irwin, under which Gandhi agreed to suspend the Civil Disobedience Movement and attend the Second Round Table Conference, in exchange for the release of political prisoners and limited concessions on salt production.
