Refund Policy
Our refund policy for digital UGC NET History notes — what is covered, what is not, and how to request help.
Last updated: REPLACE_LAST_UPDATED (e.g., June 2026)
This Refund Policy applies to the digital products (downloadable PDF notes, infographics and other study material) sold by Itihaaskar (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by REPLACE_LEGAL_NAME on itihaaskar.com. Because our products are digital goods delivered instantly, please read this policy carefully before you buy.
1. Digital products — no money-back after download
Our notes are intangible, downloadable files. Once an order is completed and the file has been downloaded or accessed, the product is considered “used” and delivered in full. For this reason we do not offer refunds, returns or money-back on digital products once they have been downloaded or accessed. This is standard practice for digital goods and protects against unauthorised copying.
By completing your purchase you acknowledge that you are buying a digital product for immediate delivery and that your right to a refund does not apply once the download has begun, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2. When a refund may still be granted
We want every aspirant to be satisfied, so we will review refund requests in good faith in these limited situations:
- Duplicate payment — you were charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error.
- Non-delivery — your payment succeeded but you did not receive access to the download, and we are unable to resolve it for you within a reasonable time.
- Wrong or corrupted file — the file delivered is materially different from what was described, or is corrupted, and we cannot provide a working replacement.
In each case the issue must be reported promptly (see below) and, where possible, before the file is downloaded. Our first step will always be to fix the problem — for example by re-sending the correct or working file — rather than to refund.
3. What is not eligible for a refund
- Change of mind after purchase or after download.
- Buying the wrong module or the bundle by mistake after it has been downloaded (we can usually help you access the right content instead).
- Lack of the device, software or internet needed to open a standard PDF.
- Dissatisfaction based on personal study preferences, where the product matches its description.
- Exam results — our notes are a study aid and we make no guarantee of selection, marks or rank.
4. How to request a refund
Email the.itihaaskar@gmail.com from the address used to place the order, within REPLACE_REFUND_WINDOW (for example, 3 days) of purchase, with your order ID and a clear description of the problem (and a screenshot where relevant). We will respond and, if a refund is approved, process it to your original payment method within a reasonable number of business days; your bank or UPI provider may take additional time to reflect it.
5. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and can affect your access to the product.
This policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.
